D.C. police locate missing 14-year-old Prayer House

The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed Monday, Sept. 28, that 14-year-old Prayer House has been located after a critical missing-person alert was issued over the weekend.

Prayer House was last seen Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the 1500 block of Butler Street SE. MPD posted the alert Saturday, Sept. 26, on its official X account, which included a photo of the teen.

The department announced the resolution at approximately 2:50 a.m. Monday in a follow-up post on X, stating Prayer House had been found and thanking the public. MPD did not provide details about the circumstances or the teen's condition.
